Kevin with his Aquaspeed Watch at the Magnetic North Pole
In 2010, Kevin Sheppard braved extreme weather conditions as he took on the hugely demanding 350 mile race
across the High Arctic to the Magnetic North Pole. His journey saw him faced with temperatures as low as -45 degrees
Celsius. Kevin's pursuit was all in aid of Winston's wish, a charity established to offer support to bereaved children.
Rotary Watches was delighted to present Kevin with a Team Sheppard / Rotary Aquaspeed watch that Kevin wore
throughout the 15 days of his gruelling expedition. Both Kevin and the watch returned to the UK fit, well and
fully-functional and presented us with a photographic diary of the race.
